Server API · v1

Automated uploads

WeCloud uses resumable multipart uploads. Initiate an Upload Session with your Project API Secret, then pass only its scoped upload credential to an untrusted browser. The session reserves a stable videoId, expires after 24 hours, and supports status, resume, abort, part authorization, and completion.

Flow

  1. POST /api/uploads with the source metadata and a fresh Idempotency-Key.
  2. Authorize each 16 MiB part using its checksum; the final part may be smaller. Upload bytes to the returned scoped URL. Do not send the API Secret with those object-storage requests.
  3. Use status or resume to recover completed parts after a network interruption. Resume verifies the file fingerprint.
  4. Complete the session with its part list. Completion is idempotent and queues processing exactly once.

The default Project upload limit is 20 GB, configurable up to an approved 100 GB. A ready Media Asset is reported through status and, when configured, Customer webhooks. Remote URL or S3 import and VdoCipher signed-form upload are unavailable.
