Associated files and Chapters

GET /api/videos/{videoId}/files lists original, poster, and Caption Track files by stable public File ID. Upload a custom poster or WebVTT Caption Track through the associated-file route; a language query identifies a caption. Delete a custom poster or Caption Track by its File ID. Generated posters and original sources cannot be deleted through that route. A retained original can be authorized through a short-lived signed download URL where policy permits.

Chapters have a title and start time within the known video duration. List, create, update, and delete Chapters through the Server API. The player returns Chapters in metadata for custom navigation. Chapters are not Viewer bookmarks or progress tracking. Caption Tracks may share a language; use the File ID to select the exact track.
